New machines carry 12 months or 2,000 hours of warranty, whichever comes first.

Machines held in Jebel Ali stock usually reach JAFZA and Dubai South the same day or the next; elsewhere in the UAE it is a matter of days. If the configuration you need has to be built and shipped, allow 8 to 12 weeks from order, including freight and customs clearance.

After the warranty period, servicing runs on a fixed-price annual contract with an agreed number of visits, so the cost is known in advance.

Our journey began in 1997 when ARAS was founded and registered as a Free Zone Entity in the prestigious Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza) of Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Today ARAS Developments FZE is the authorised UAE distributor of Soosung, the South Korean material-handling manufacturer, and also supplies its own ARAS Handling Equipment brand. We sell and rent electric forklifts in the 1 to 3 tonne range, along with electric reach trucks, articulated and very-narrow-aisle (VNA) forklifts, reach stackers, pallet stackers, scissor lifts and pallet trucks, delivering to customers across all seven emirates with genuine spare parts and after-sales support from our Jebel Ali Free Zone base.

The name “ARAS” pays tribute to our late founder, Arastou Etemad Emami. His background as an industrial engineer from Hamburg, Germany, and his successful management of various businesses, including a machine factory in Lauenburg, Germany, laid the foundation for our commitment to German engineering excellence.
