The Soosung SWR Series ride-on reach stacker is the excellent alternative to bigger forklift trucks in small areas. Its compact footprint and stand-on platform design make it ideal for smaller warehouses, retail stockrooms, and confined storage spaces where space and manoeuvrability are at a premium.
Three models — SWR-1300, SWR-1300L, and SWR-1500L — combine a 550 mm reach stroke with lift heights up to 2,500 mm (and up to 3-stage 4,500 mm available). An AC drive motor, FE.T drive control, and the German-made TEMO handle deliver smooth, comfortable, and efficient operation, while the optional safety beacon enhances workplace visibility.

What the “reach” in a reach stacker buys you
The reach function is the whole point: the forks extend forward so the truck can place or retrieve a load sitting beyond its wheels — deeper into racking, over a low obstacle, or into a position a fixed-mast machine could never get to. Combined with stacking height, that reach is what lets the SWR work storage layouts other trucks simply can’t.
It is a specialist’s tool rather than a general runabout. Where it pays off is dense storage and awkward access — places where every extra pallet position counts and you need to load over or into something rather than straight on.
