Renting an electric forklift makes sense more often than most operations managers expect. Seasonal peaks, one-off projects, a sudden contract win, or simply wanting to prove a specification before buying — in each case hiring puts a machine on your floor within days without touching capital budgets. ARAS Developments FZE has rented and sold material handling equipment from Jebel Ali Free Zone since 1997, and electric forklifts are the machines we know best.
Electric forklifts available for rent
Our rental fleet is built around battery-electric counterbalance forklifts from 1 to 3 tonnes — the sizes that cover almost all warehouse and light industrial work in the UAE. Every unit is inspected and serviced before it leaves our yard, and because these are the same models we sell and stock parts for, a breakdown never waits on an imported component. If you are weighing up which capacity you need, our electric forklift page sets out the 1, 1.5, 2 and 3-tonne options in detail.
Daily, weekly and monthly terms
We rent by the day, week or month, and long-term hire is available where a project runs across seasons. As a rule of thumb, the longer the term, the lower the effective daily rate — a monthly plan usually works out significantly cheaper per day than short bursts of daily hire. Rather than publish a one-size rate that never matches real requirements, we quote against your term, lift height and usage — and we reply the same working day.
Why rent electric rather than diesel?
For indoor and mixed indoor/outdoor duty, electric wins on running cost and workplace conditions: no fuel deliveries, no fumes in enclosed spaces, less noise, and far less scheduled maintenance. If your site genuinely needs diesel for rough outdoor ground, tell us — we will advise honestly rather than rent you the wrong machine.
How it works
Tell us your load weight, lift height, hours per day and hire period. We recommend a unit and send a written rate the same working day. Delivery runs across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah, and our JAFZA-based service team stays responsible for the machine throughout the hire. If the machine proves itself and you would rather own it, ask about applying rental toward purchase — many of our customers start exactly that way. The full hire service, including other equipment types, is covered on our forklift rental in Dubai and the UAE page.

Frequently asked questions
Which company offers electric forklift rental in Dubai?
ARAS Developments FZE, based in Jebel Ali Free Zone, rents battery-electric forklifts from 1 to 3 tonnes on daily, weekly and monthly terms, with delivery and service across all seven emirates. The company has supplied UAE businesses since 1997.
How much does it cost to rent an electric forklift in Dubai?
Rates depend on capacity, mast height and hire term — monthly hire works out cheapest per day. Send your requirement and we quote the same working day.
Can I rent before deciding to buy?
Yes, and it is often the smart route. Renting proves the specification on your own floor, and we can discuss applying hire toward a purchase if you decide to keep the machine.
Is an operator included?
Rental covers the machine, servicing and breakdown support. If you need operator training for your own team, ask when you enquire.
